On 3 December 2003, the Assembly stressed the need to focus on the vision of the two-state solution and the principle of land against peace, and to implement the resolutions of the Security Council. It also stressed the need to ensure the withdrawal of Israel from the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967 and to ensure the realization of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination and the right to establish Independent state.
