WWF has played a leading role in the organization of the “International Tiger Summit” and looks forward to continuing the Tx2 global goal of 2024.

Objective Tx2

This refers to the goal in terms of tiger repopulation. WWF, however, remains lucid and knows that the operation will be difficult to carry out, but the game is worth the effort. So is the preservation of a rare species!

World Tige Day

These are the 13 tiger range countries (ie those in which tigers live: Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Viet Nam) who created World Tiger Day at the Tiger Summit, held in November 2010 in St. Petersburg (Russia).

The date chosen is that of July 29 and the main goal of the day is the awareness of the population to the conservation of wild tigers.
